Niche Scout searches Chinese wholesale sites for products in your niches, works out what each one actually costs to land in Pakistan, checks how crowded the local market already is, and tells you which ones are worth buying — with an Excel workbook per niche and a dashboard to explore it.
How it works
For every product the pipeline finds, it answers the same five questions — cheapest first — and only spends money on the ones that survive.
Not the supplier's sticker price — the landed cost. Goods × FX, plus freight per kg, duty and sales tax, plus clearing amortised over the MOQ. A $4 item can easily land above PKR 2,500. Anything over your ceiling is dropped here, before the expensive market lookup.
Every Daraz listing in the keyword result set is read back and kept only if its own title is really this product. A search returning 200 results for an accessory-stuffed keyword is not "available" — it is noise.
Units sold, review volume and ratings — measured only on the listings confirmed to be this product, so demand is never inflated by look-alikes.
Listing count, seller count, brand concentration and price convergence — combined into a saturation score that tells you whether there is still room to enter.
Landed cost against the measured local median selling price where one exists, or the target sell multiple when it does not. Everything rolls into a 0–100 opportunity score.
The verdict
Every score rolls into one of three verdicts. They are computed deterministically from the gates — a model is never asked what the verdict should be, only to explain it.
Sold in Pakistan at a measured price and clears every gate — cost, margin, demand and competition.
Cost and margin work, but competition or demand is borderline — or nobody local sells it yet, so the price is an estimate. Test it with a small order.
Fails on cost, margin, or a saturated market. A bad landed cost cannot be fixed — so it is thrown out early and cheaply.
Why “watch” exists: cost and margin are the expensive-to-fix constraints. A crowded market can thin out and an untested one can be tested with a small order — a bad landed cost cannot be fixed at all.
What you get
FX, freight per kg, duty, sales tax and clearing amortised over MOQ — configurable per run, shown per product.
Local availability and prices are confirmed listing-by-listing against product titles, never inferred from result counts.
Every score and verdict is computed and reproducible, recorded as the list of gates a product passed or failed. A model is never asked what the verdict should be.
Claude or OpenAI reads the finished analysis and writes what's driving it, what could be wrong, and what to do next — with a confidence rating.
Paste any supplier URL and get the same cost, availability and score report for a single product in minutes.
The pipeline checkpoints after every product. Time-capped functions stop and a cron sweep picks the crawl back up.
A multi-sheet workbook for every niche, plus a dashboard with filters, charts and per-product reasoning.
Exclude keywords and products once and the pipeline remembers — each run gets cleaner than the last.
Alibaba, 1688 and Made-in-China on the supply side; Daraz and PakWheels for demand — with dynamic, AI-configured adapters for more.
About us
Sourcing from China into Pakistan is a game of thin margins and expensive mistakes: a product that looks like a $4 bargain lands above PKR 2,500 once freight, duty and clearing are in, and by the time you find out, forty Daraz sellers already have it.
Niche Scout is our answer — a research pipeline that does the tedious, error-prone maths and market-checking for every candidate product, consistently, so a sourcing decision starts from measured numbers instead of a hunch. It is a private, admin-only tool: accounts are provisioned by the owner and every run is yours.
The verdict is arithmetic over measured data. Reasoning is written after the fact, to explain — never to decide.
An estimated price is labelled as one. Confidence drops when the data behind a call is thin, and a product cannot reach "go" on an assumed selling price.
Landed cost is checked before the expensive market lookup, so the pipeline spends money only on products that could actually work.
PKR, Pakistani duty and tax, Daraz and PakWheels demand signals — designed around how importing into Pakistan actually works.
